We’re looking for a trainee videographer/editor. You don’t have to have the qualifications or experience (though if you have then great) – the most important thing to us is your attitude, your commitment, your interests and your personality.
When it comes to the skills, the knowledge and the technical ability – we’ll help you with that.

We make films for loads of people you’ll have heard of – KCOM, the University of Hull, Freedom Festival, NHS England, Spencer Group, Hull Truck, Visit Hull, Bradford Literature Festival, Beal Homes and many more. We make all kinds of films about people and places and things: last year we made around 250 films – we don’t hang about.
We’re a small and very close team, we support each other and get along great, we’re busy, we’re very proud of our work, we have very high standards and we love what we do.
So what are we looking for?
We mentioned creative – maybe you don’t know what direction your creative urge wants to take, but you know it’s there. Basically we’re going to train you to handle a high-end video camera and shoot top quality commercial, arts and documentary footage. If you’re into any aspect of the visual arts then you’re off to a good start. If you’re into stories that will help too… Maybe you care about helping people express themselves and use their voice to make their point… Tell us about it.
Intelligent – what’s intelligence? We’re certainly not looking at your exam results. We want someone who has an open, enquiring mind. We want someone who is self-aware and knows their own strengths and weaknesses. We want someone who can listen. What do you love doing? Tell us about it.
Socially conscious… Do you care about the world and the people who live in it? Do you believe in equality for everyone? Do you want to make things better? Tell us about that too.
